Our home is a brick four-bedroom ranch style home which sits on 1 1/2 acres within the city.
The woman who had the home built in 1971, woke up from a dream and sketched out the design of the home. She gave the drawings to an architect and he and the contractor worked to fulfill her dream. Each bedroom has a private bath. There is a wide central hallway, large common room and an open kitchen/dining area, All guest areas are on the first floor.
The home is located at the intersection of two streets. After two cars failed to stop and ran into the front yard and up to the front of the home, the woman had large bolders placed on that part of the grounds. So far, no more front-yard car visitors.
