On January 6, 2012,  our sweet Missy died.  She loved being a bed and breakfast dog and would spend hours lying with her toy Squeak at the front door waiting for guests.   She would fetch things for guests but not for us. She never went in guest rooms and went to her kennel (also known as utility room) whenever guests were eating.  I think we have more comments about her on our guestroom logs than we do about anything else.

Missy was born in May of 1997 and joined our family in July of that year.  She came with my husband to open our bed and breakfast in 2001 and remained faithful in her duties until 2 days ago when convulsions took a hold on her.

We thank the Lindquist Veterinary Center veterinarians and staff for their care and concern of our wonderful Missy who loved so many.  She was also the best psychologist my husband and I had.

God, please take care of her as she took care of us.   Mac and Jill McCord

Missy loved being in pictures and always found time to pose.
